Background

Gourab studied medicine in Dhaka Medical College under the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. After graduation, he joined International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b) as a research fellow. He simultaneously worked as a general practitioner in rural setting. He finished his MPH in Epidemiology from Bangladesh before moving to UK to pursue MSc from University College London. This was followed by a move to Australia with family and working at Hawkins Clinic in Mount Gambier.
