Dr Rebecca Martin, MBChB

Dr. Rebecca Martin graduated from the University of Birmingham in the UK in 2015 and spent two years working in the south-west of England before moving to Australia. She then worked for six years at Flinders Medical Centre, followed by Mount Barker Hospital, and now Mount Gambier Hospital, with a focus in Emergency Departments. Dr Martin now splits her time between general practice and emergency medicine.

Her special interests include general medicine, geriatrics and palliative care, acute care, and teaching. Dr. Martin is passionate about promoting Health at Every Size (HAES) and is an LGBTQI ally, striving to provide inclusive and compassionate care. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, travelling, and gardening.
